Virginia Hunt has been a working fine artist all her life. She works with charcoal and with oil, on paper and on canvas. Based partly in Tuscany and in Britain, Virginia’s work reflects the influences of both places.

Virginia Hunt’s work is in the abstract genre, speaking to the powerful forces of nature at work in landscapes around us, and in our own bodies. Whether through the charcoal works that she has most recently done, or through the color works that she has accomplished over many years, Virginia’s voice  is extremely articulate and sensitive. We sense the elemental, the erotic and the mysterious. Genius flows through all her production.
